Roger L. Folsom
FARMINGTON – Roger L. Folsom, 77, passed away on January 25, 2025, with loved ones by his side. He was born on April 2, 1947, to parents, Francis and Alma (Pillsbury) Folsom in Farmington.
Roger joined the United States Marine Corps May 4th, 1967, and was honorably discharged October 21, 1968. After the military he became a Heavy Equipment Operator in Vermont, working for Dick Kingsbury, which he very much enjoyed.
Roger had many hobbies, like panning for gold, four-wheeling and skiing. He also loved to read and was a great cook. Roger also had a walking buddy, Dave Flint, who would join him daily for a 3-mile walk around town.
He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Alma Folsom; brother, Duane Folsom; brother, Norman Folsom; brother, Jim Folsom; and his sister, Joan Hargreaves.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Vonda Scears Folsom; daughter, Kimberly Folsom; daughter, Leigh Ann Ravelin; daughter, Erica Smith; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
