LEWISTON — Flautist Chris Lansley is set to give a recital at Trinity Commons, 247 Bates St., at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, as part of the ongoing Oasis of Music series.
Performing with Lansley will be pianist Adrian Dmytruk, with the program featuring diverse classical pieces.
Lansley, principal flute with the Augusta Symphony Orchestra, appears frequently in chamber music performances in the area, as well as playing music for worship at Trinity Church. Lansley is also organizing the newly-formed Trinity Commons Chamber Orchestra for future concerts.
Dmytruk has performed extensively as an accompanist in his native Ukraine and in the U.S. He provides accompaniment for music at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Turner.
Admission to the recital is free, with donations accepted toward the restorative work in progress at Trinity Commons.
