I have been a citizen of Maine all my life. I am 71 years old.
I have been very disappointed in a lot of decisions that this government has made over the years, but I am appalled at the recent decision to silence an honest and upright person when the House of Representatives censured Laurel Libby.
She was voicing her opinion, which is free speech, on what she believes is morally wrong for trans athletes or any males to compete in female sports.
I stand firm with Rep. Laurel Libby. It is immoral for any male to complete in female sports.
