Armand F. Gagnon Sr.

LEWISTON – Heaven gained one of the most genuine, hard working souls when Armand “Noye, Tex” F. Gagnon Sr. passed away on March 4, 2025. He was born in Van Buren, Maine on Oct. 7, 1941, to the parents of Laudewine (Vaillancourt) and Isaie Sylvio Gagnon.

In his late teens, he moved to the Lewiston area to work and met his soon-to-be wife, Marilyn. On August 17, 1963, they were married surrounded by their loving family and friends. Armand became the father of five children and provided the best home, including some extended family. He worked at Main Line Fence for over 65 years where there wasn’t a task that he shied away from. He retired in 2018 after starting the struggle with dementia.

Armand enjoyed bowling, playing the guitar, singing, spending time and taking care of his family and friends. Armand lost part of his heart when his wife of 59 years passed away in 2022. They loved to listen to music, dancing, eating breakfast at the local spots, coffee dates, and taking short rides to visit their kids.

All are welcome to visiting hours that will be held on Sunday, March 9, from 1 – 4 p.m. at Albert & Burpee Funeral Home, located at 253 Pine Street in Lewiston, Maine 04240
