DEAR SUN SPOTS: Girl Scout Troop 131 will host a spaghetti supper to help fund our 2027 trip to Italy on Saturday, March 29, from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, 43 Second St. in Auburn. There will also be a trivia game with questions about pop culture, holidays, Lewiston and more, from 6-7 p.m.

The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for children 3-10 years old. Children under 3 years old are free.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The folks at Montello Heights at 550 College St. in Lewiston are  having a Craft Fair on Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you would like to rent a table for $10, please call 520-8828. — Chris, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have beige carpeting with jute backing to give away. It was on our basement stairs, is 33 inches wide, long enough to cover at least 12 stairs, and is in good condition. If interested, please give me a call at 212-8568. — No name, Poland

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Pennies for a Cause is back and reached its goal of $12,000. We presented Ed Harmon with a check to provide temporary shelter to a homeless veteran here in Maine.

Thank you all for providing cans, bottles, and donations — keep them coming as Pennies for a Cause has a new project. We are gathering funds to supply a therapy dog to a disabled person.

Bottles and cans may be brought to MT Redemption Center at 1445 Lisbon St. Let them know they are for Pennies for a Cause. Bottles and cans can also be picked up if you call Pat at 212-9372. I’m sending a big thank you to everyone! — Marguerite, no town
