LEWISTON — Police confirmed Monday that the last remaining victim of a single-vehicle crash March 20 on Grove Street died at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
Adaysia Read, 20, died Monday, four days after her 7-month-old daughter, Kinsley Willigar, was pronounced dead after the crash, in which the pair were passengers, according to a police update Monday.
Tyrell Willigar, 20, of Brunswick was operating his 2016 Toyota Corolla around 10:45 p.m. on March 20 when his car left the road near 400 Grove St. and crashed into a tree.
Willigar was pronounced dead at the scene.
Read and her daughter were transported first to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston then to Maine Medical Center with critical injuries.
Police said speed appeared to be a contributing factor to the crash, which remains under investigation.
