Arrests/summonses
Oct. 16 at 9:25 p.m., Jennifer Fligg, 33, Rumford, was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on the Ellis River Road on a charge of domestic violence assault. Fligg posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec.6.
Oct. 19 at 2:16 a.m., 16-year-old boy from Rumford was charged by Cpl. Donald Miller on Erchles Street with possession of alcohol by a juvenile. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 3.
Oct. 20 at noon, Thomas Prendergast, 18, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Hancock Street with assault. Prendergast is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 21 at 11:24 p.m., Jake Pomeroy, 22, of Dixfield was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Bridge Street on a charge of operating under the influence. Pomeroy, who was charged additionally with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 22 at 1:06 a.m., Amber Grassette, 21, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Maine Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence. Grassette posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 22 at 1:12 a.m., Christopher Touchette, 27, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Maine Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence. Touchette posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 22 at 2:55 a.m., Joshua Messier, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Waldo Street on a charge of obstructing a public way and disorderly conduct. Messier was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Oct. 22 at 2:20 p.m., Wilfred Buck, 57, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Maine Avenue on a charge of violation of a protection order. Buck was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 6.
Oct. 22 at 6:50 p.m., Sara Paquette, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street on a charge of domestic violence criminal threatening with dangerous weapon and domestic violence terrorizing and violation conditions of release. Paquette was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Dec. 16.
Oct. 23 at 1:35 a.m., Daniel Lavorgna, 45, of Mexico was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Cumberland Street on a charge of possession of a schedule “W” drug (cocaine), possession of a suspended license, possession of a mutilated license and violation conditions of release. Lavorgna was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on Dec. 16.
Oct. 23 at 11:01 p.m., Jason Hill, 32, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Route 2 with possession of drug paraphernalia. Hill is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan.3.
Assault
Oct. 21 at 11:15 p.m., Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated people fighting on Oxford Avenue. The victim refused to cooperate and the people were warned about disorderly conduct.
Burglary
Oct. 23 at 7:52 p.m., Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating a residential burglary while the occupants were out of town. A list of the missing items is being compiled.
Criminal mischief
Oct. 20 at 8:17 p.m., Cpl. Donald Miller took a complaint of the sidewalk being spray painted on Hartford Street. No visible damage.
Oct. 21 at 6:55 a.m., Sgt. Tracey Higley took a complaint of damage to three tires on Kennebec Street. Estimated loss: $180.
Theft
Oct. 17 at 11:14 a.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated the theft of copper on Cumberland Street. No estimate of loss given.
Oct. 17 at 2:09 p.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated the theft of an Apple Nano and headphones on Knox Street. Estimated loss: $150.
Oct. 17 at 4:51 p.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated a $56.65 gas drive-off. The buyer returned to pay. No charges filed.
Oct. 19 at 7:48 p.m., Cpl. Donald Miller investigated a theft of a Zippo on Congress Street. Estimated loss: $20.
Oct. 21 at 5:11 p.m., Patrolman Michael Belanger investigated a theft by deception. Funds are being repaid and no charges brought at this time.
Wanted
Daniel C. Fowler, 25, Mexico, is wanted on an Oxford County warrant charging failure to pay fines for refusing to submit to arrest and failure to appear for theft. The warrants are dated Oct. 17 and 18.
