Marie Louise Violette (Latulippe) Fraser

LEWISTON – Marie Louise Violette Latulippe Fraser, 80, passed away Jan. 20, 2025 with her family by her side. Louise was born in East Broughton Canada on June 28, 1944 to Rosaire and Jeannette Latulippe, and has lived in Lewiston since the age of 1.

She attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from St. Dominic’s High School in 1962.

She married Roger W. Fraser in June of 1967 and raised three wonderful children. Brian, Wayne and Celeste.

She worked for St. Pierre Credit union for 13 years and then became a homemaker to raise her kids. She then worked for Hahnel Bros. Co. for 23 years until her retirement.

She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and went to all of their activities, concerts sporting events and school functions. She was a life long Patriots fan and could often be heard cheering during the games.

Louise was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Fraser of Lewiston; brother, Marius and wife Imelda of Lewiston, her sister, Anita and husband Gerry of Turner.

She is survived by two of her children, Brian Fraser and wife Christine of Cumberland, daughter, Celeste Jutras and husband Michael of Greene; and three grandchildren, Natashia, Ryan and Ethan. She is also survived by her brother, Denis, of Ogunquit; and many nieces and nephews that she cherished.

Services will be on June 7 at 11 a.m. at St Peters Basilica in Lewiston.
