Deborah E. (Bussiere) Robitaille
AUBURN – Deborah E. (Bussiere) Robitaille, the wife of James R. Robitaille of Lewiston, died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Andwell Hospice House. She was 67.
She was born Nov. 16, 1957, in Hartford, Conn., a daughter of the late Lionel N. and Inez M. (Levesque) Bussiere. After losing her mother at an early age, Deb was adopted by her aunt and moved to Lewiston, where she attended local public schools. She graduated from Lewiston High School with the class of 1976.
Deb earned her associate’s degree from Mid-State College in Auburn, after which she became a longtime employee in business development at Advantage Payroll in the Twin Cities. She worked for the company for 44 years, retiring in 2023.
Deb loved animals, and her dogs in particular. She raised Standard Poodles and Pomeranians, and they were all beloved pets in the Lewiston home she shared with her husband.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Pelletier and Robert Bussiere.
In addition to her husband, Deb is survived by her siblings, Linda Bellmore of Auburn, Paul Pelletier of Lewiston, and Nelson, Donald, Tina and Junior Bussiere; and a large family of in-laws on her husband’s side. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend committal prayers on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston.
