Claudette Tremblay
LEESBURG, Fla. – Claudette Tremblay of Leesburg, Florida, 83, died suddenly on May 7, 2025, at Lady Lake rehab. Claudette was born on June 10, 1940, to Irene and Josephat Chasse in Fort Kent, Maine.
She grew up in Lewiston with five other siblings, Reynold, Clarence, Doris, Lorraine, and Arline. She attended Lewiston Schools, throughout her life in Lewiston Claudette was a mom to four children, Sandi, Paul, Charles, and Gary Bailey. She enjoyed connecting with family and friends, as she and Donat, her second husband, loved camping and traveling, and especially Karaoke in their community, loved playing cards, loved bowling; member of local league in Lewiston, love doing crafts especially painting ceramics, loved spending time and dining out with friends and family both in Maine and Florida.
She worked for several years at Raytheon, then General Electric and Hallowell shoe.
She was predeceased by her daughter Sandi, and a Grandson, Nicholas, and her brother Reynold. She is survived by three sons, Paul (Ursula) Bailey Jr., Charles (Andrea) Bailey and Gary/Natashia Bailey – 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Catholic service will be held at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon, St. Lewiston, ME 04240, on June 23, at 11 a.m., and burial at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St, Auburn, ME 04210 at 12:30 p.m.
Claudette’s memories will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love held by those who new her best.
