Judy A. Keene
AUBURN – Judy A. Keene, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, just one week shy of her 80th birthday, with her loving family by her side. Born in Lewiston on June 20, 1945, Judy was the beloved daughter of Clement Leonard and Margaret Leonard.
Judy spent much of her life in the Lewiston-Auburn area, where she worked in local shoe shops and took great pride in her work. Above all, she was devoted to her family, finding her greatest joy in time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.
She loved feeding her hummingbirds, going out to eat, shopping, and simply enjoying the company of those she loved.
She had a great a sense of humor and was known as Grammy Sparkles for both her fashion and personality – may she continue to add a little sparkle to the lives of her loved ones through the memories she left with them.
She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Richard Keene and wife Pamela Keene, and Scott Keene; her grandchildren, Trista Conners and husband Jon Conners, Garrett Keene, Ciara Keene and fiancé Robie Schmersal, and Tyler Keene; her great-granddaughter, Ayane Conners; brothers David and Brian and sister Dorothy, and also Timmy. .
Judy was predeceased by her parents, husband Clyde Keene, sister Mary, and brother Allen.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
