Lorraine F. Raymond
LEWISTON – Lorraine F. Raymond was reunited with her husband and son and entered eternal life with the Lord on July 16, 2025, her 90th birthday.
Lorraine was born in Auburn on July 16, 1935, the daughter of the late H. George Poulin and Judith (Boulay) Poulin. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She married Henry L. Raymond on May 18, 1957 and remained happily married for 51 years until his passing on July 24, 2008. Together they raised seven children. Lorraine enjoyed bingo, going out to eat, and traveling. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Sabattus.
She is survived by six of her seven children., Debbie Paradis, Cyndi Faucher-Jordan, Brenda (Jim) Geoffroy, Ann (John) Nault, Michael Raymond, and Becky Raymond; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She also leaves behind sister-in-law, Shirley Costanza; as well as several nieces, nephews; cousins; and a special friend, Angela Gagne.
She was predeceased by her husband; her son, “Butch” Henry L. Raymond, Jr., three sons-in-law; her sister, Muriel Beaudoin, two brothers-in-law, and a sister-in-law.
Special thanks to the staff at Chapman House, Marshwood, and Beacon-Auburn for the care given to Mom throughout the last four years.
The graveside service will be held at Gracelawn Memorial Park on 980 Turner St., in Auburn, on Aug. 2, at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond, ME 04357.
