GREENE – Stanley Edmund Bubier Jr. passed away surrounded by his family at home on August 2, 2025.

Stan was born April 7, 1950 in Lewiston, Maine. He was predeceased by his parents, Esther Turner Field and Stanley Bubier Senior, his sister Starr Bubier, and infant twin daughters.

Stan graduated from Leavitt High School where he was a shining star on the football team.

He was a member of the Shriner Ashlar Lodge No. 105 AF & AM of Auburn. He worked many years at Bates College. He was a member of the Maine Harness Horsemen Association as he enjoyed many years harness racing all over Maine. His other hobbies included growing family vegetable gardens, camping, hunting, and enjoying football games. He found joy in searching out and collecting antique items. Stan leaves a legacy of “work hard-play hard” for all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pamela Bubier; his son Stanley Edmond Bubier III, his daughter Raylene Cummings; along with 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren who were a constant joy to him.

He is also survived by his siblings Susan, Sheldon and Judy, Sharlyn and Stephen, Scott and Irene, Kevin and Chris, Greg and April, Tracey; and several nieces and nephews.

A brief graveside service will be held at Valley Cemetery on Route 202 in Greene, Maine Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m.
