Clifford G. Foster

WEST PARIS – Clifford Gary Foster “Kippy”, 68, of West Paris, passed away peacefully Aug. 7, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Norway on July 13, 1957, the son of Donald F. Foster, and Ruby (Phelps) Foster.

After graduating from Oxford Hills High School, class of 1975, Cliff honorably served the United States Air Force. Cliff was a master plumber for 30-plus years, taking pride in his workmanship; along with being a member of AA for over 15 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and especially enjoyed his vegetable garden and sharing it with others. He was in his element when outdoors, and spending time with family. Cliff shared a special bond with his 10-year-old beagle, Angel. All animals that came his way found a better life under his care. He also had a long-time friendship with Kenny Johnson, who he considered a brother.

He is survived by his wife, Angela (Johnson) Foster; son, David Foster and partner Mandy Hennessey; granddaughter, Kiiya and husband Brandon Daigle; grandson, Damian Foster; great-grandchildren, Aubree, Adaline, and Grayson; step daughter, Alicia Taylor and husband Mike; stepgrandchildren, Cole and Conner; step sons, Shane Smith and Dean Smith; siblings, Jeanette Chapman; Richard and wife Mildred Foster; Kathy and husband George Melvin; and Sandy and husband David Fogg; along with several nieces and nephews.

Cliff was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy Sawyer; second wife, Florice Cummings; long-time partner, Hazel Kennison; and brother-in-law Philip Chapman Jr (Gus).
