RANGELEY — Rangeley Region Guides’ and Sportsmen’s Association is pleased to announce two upcoming educational programs at the clubhouse on Old Skiway Road in Oquossoc this September. The courses are designed to support both new and experienced hunters.
Hunter Safety Course – Sunday, Sept. 21
This in‑class course is required for anyone purchasing a hunting license for the first time in Maine. Participants will learn the essential principles of safe and responsible hunting needed to begin a lifetime of enjoyment in the outdoors. Register Here
Fundamentals of Hunting Rifles – Sunday, Sept. 28
This training program offers classroom instruction in the morning, followed by live‑fire range time in the afternoon. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn with and practice several different calibers under the guidance of experienced instructors. Register Here
