RANGELEY — After much anticipation, Pickleball Rangeley, LLC, a new full-service pickleball facility located at 2268 Main Street, will officially open for business on Friday, Oct. 10, with a Grand Opening and Open House event starting at 10 a.m.
The facility features three regulation sized courts with safety zones and permanent nets.
Various other amenities include ball machines for practice sessions, paddles for rent, balls
for purchase, lockers, handicap accessible restrooms and other pickleball merchandise.
“Those of us that play pickleball, love pickleball. The community, the exercise and the
pursuit of getting better fills my life and the lives of my pickleball friends with richness,”
says Jackie Patnode, owner of Pickleball Rangeley. “It can be competitive but also just fun.
With the help of my pickleball friend, Carla McNally, access to our membership portal is
convenient and easy,” said Patnode.
Pickleball Rangeley’s Grand Opening and Open House event will take place Friday, Oct. 10, Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring their court shoes and paddles, if they have them, to enjoy some free play time. Paddles will be available to borrow for the opening weekend. Membership information will be available.
Pickleball has been the fastest growing sport in the U.S. for the past four years.
