I live in Ottawa and truly miss traveling to the U.S. two to three times per year. It’s unfortunate and sad for such a beautiful country to spread such hatred and selfishness. However, this too shall pass.
I see many state officials asking Canadians to return to the U.S. Despite the fear of crossing the border (no, it has nothing to do with tariffs or currency exchange rates), I had been debating to take a three-day cross border trip for back to school shopping. Sen. Joseph Martin’s comments quickly reminded me of Trump rhetoric. I will visit the U.S. again when Trump is gone. Based on Martin’s comments, I will never visit Maine again in my life.
Amazing how so many years of friendship can be obliterated in six months.
