DEAR SUN SPOTS: There will be a Baked Bean Supper at Sixth St. Congregational Church at 109 Sixth St. in Auburn, on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 4:30-6 p.m.
There will be two kinds of beans, red hot dogs, brown hot dogs, coleslaw, assorted casseroles, assorted desserts and beverages. The cost of the supper is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12. Children 5 and under can eat for free. — Elizabeth, Auburn

Shoppers will find a wide variety of treasures, including clothing, linens, hand tools, and Christmas décor, all while supporting a worthy cause. Payment will be by donation and proceeds from the sale will benefit the free community Thanksgiving dinner.
