BAR HARBOR — The wedding of Noelle Jean Gilley and Eric Vernon Williams was held at 2 p.m on May 21 at the Maine Sea Coast Mission in Bar Harbor. Pamela Davis, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Williams is the daughter of Pamela Davis of Rockland. Mr. Williams is the son of Charles V. Williams Jr. and Rosalie J. Williams of Buckfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Jay Wescott, wore a strapless sweetheart gown in mermaid style with lace. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.
Katie Leighton, best friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Decker, Lindsay Ouellette, Jennifer Curtis and Brooke Burton, friends.
Serving as best man for his brother was Charles Williams. Ushers were Russell Williams, another brother, and Jonathan Roy, Nicholas Litchfield and Rob Dimauro, friends. Drew Davis, brother, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Narrows Too Resort in Bar Harbor. The couple is residing in Monterey, Calif.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Mt. Desert Island High School and attended the University of Maine at Augusta. She is currently a homemaker.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Buckfield Junior-Senior High School and Southern Maine Community College in Portland. He then worked at Jackson Labs in Bar Harbor until July of this year. He joined the Air force on July 19 and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base until Sept. 19. He is currently stationed in California.
