CANTON — The wedding of Lindsay Jo Marston and Charles Erland Williams was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the home of a friend in Canton. Lori Smallwood, notary public and family friend, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Williams is the daughter of Allen and Mari-jo Marston of Hartford. Mr. Williams is the son of Charles and Rosalie Williams of Buckfield.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with sweetheart neckline, corset closure and flowing train. She carried a bouquet of sun flowers and zinnias.
A cousin, Mary Hastings, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Maryse Charest, sister-in-law, and Heather Noonan and Terri Cook, friends.
Ryan Cook was best man for his friend. Ushers were Russ Williams, brother, and Ryan Harvey and Brent Dan, friends.
A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bride, after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in Minot.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maine at Farmington. She is a middle school math teacher in Buckfield.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Thomas College and is vice president of finance and accounting at Norway Savings Bank in Norway.
