Literary Union
AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St.
Members and guests are asked to bring one or two of their favorite things, antiques or objects, to share with others. Hospitality will be provided by Cathy Westleigh, Paulette Westleigh and Patricia Melaragno.

Veterans’ dinner
MECHANIC FALLS — There will be a Veterans Day dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, for veterans and one guest at the American Legion Unit 150, 41 Elm St. The dinner includes ham or corn beef.
