I hope Rachel Randall will be elected to the Auburn City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
I have known her for more than 10 years. Her heart is in the right place. She is running for office because she identifies with the people of Auburn.
She wants Auburnites to continue to receive efficient city services, like schooling for their kids, clean and inexpensive water, snowplowing, garbage collection, recycling and police and fire protection without huge tax increases. She also wants to figure out a way to provide reasonable housing at a reasonable cost for existing and potential citizens.
Rachel grew up in Auburn, and the experience made her want to come back. She wants Auburn to improve for the common man, not just for those at the top.
She would work diligently for all the citizens of Auburn.
