Debbie Lynn Somers DeLaine
GARNER, NC – Debbie Lynn Somers DeLaine, 60, of Garner, NC, died after a long illness, on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on July 25, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Richard Somers and Diane (Brochu) Letourneau of Lewiston.
She lived much of her life in Lewiston and the Boston area of Massachusetts. In 2022, her and Kenneth DeLaine were married in Las Vegas. They lived in Lewiston before returning to his home in North Carolina. Debbie loved to cook and bake. She worked for many years as a bakery manager in Lewiston before moving to North Carolina. She enjoyed making birthday cakes for her grandchildren. She adored cooking for holidays, especially Christmas. Spending time with her family and date nights with her husband were an important part of her life.
She also enjoyed two stepping on the dance floor, watching baking, cooking, and house building TV shows. She loved cuddling with her puppy “Smudges.”
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth DeLaine; daughter, Donielle and husband, Steven Lezin, daughter Jessica Doiron, son Joseph Doiron Sr. and significant other Taylor Dolfi, and stepdaughter Lakendra DeLaine; grandchildren, Nevaeh Catino, Tayshon Holmes, Amari Pitterson, Arielle Sajous, Makai Lezin, Anastasia Sajous, and Joseph Doiron Jr. She will be deeply missed by all and never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
