Charles Norman Neureuther
LISBON FALLS – Charles Norman “Papa” Neureuther, 95, passed away peacefully on Oct. 7, 2025.
Born on Oct. 3, 1930, in Cheektowaga, N.Y. to Cecelia and Arthur Neureuther, Charles lived a long and vibrant life marked by devotion to family, service to his country, and a zest for adventure. Charles proudly served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955. His years in the Navy instilled in him a deep sense of duty and resilience that would remain with him throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn, daughter Beverly, son Lee, three sisters and three brothers. Though he endured these losses with quiet strength, Charles continued to be a pillar of love and support for those around him.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Keith and Mona, Chuck and Michael and daughter-in-law Donna. His legacy continues through numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews-all of whom were touched by his warmth and generosity.
Affectionately known as “Papa,” Charles had a heart full of love that made him everyone’s favorite grandfather, uncle, and friend. He found joy in simple pleasures-riding motorcycles through winding roads, snowmobiling across winter landscapes, playing squash with enthusiasm well into his later years, and gathering around the table for card games filled with laughter. Above all else, he cherished time spent with family.
There will be no services at this time.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
