Gerald W. Hartford

LEEDS – Gerald W. Hartford, 82, a resident of Leeds, passed away peacefully, Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Lewiston, the son of Harold C. Hartford, Sr. and Virginia E. (Bragg) Hartford. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1961. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. On Dec. 11, 1964, in Leeds, he married Valerie A. Page. Jerry worked in maintenance for SAD # 52 until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Hartford of Leeds, his sons, Todd Hartford and wife Terri of Monmouth, Troy Hartford of Greene, Toby Hartford and his wife Toni of Mechanic Falls, and Travis Hartford and his wife Dannielle of Belgrade, his daughter, Tammy Hartford and partner David Bergeron of South Carolina.
