BATH — Grammy-winning Roomful of Teeth will bring their vocal magic to the Chocolate Church Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 5, at 7:30 p.m.
Known for continually expanding the boundaries of vocal music, Roomful of Teeth will “present an evening of mind-bending, innovative works that blend classical precision, contemporary experimentation, and global vocal traditions,” according to organizers.
The group’s most recent studio album, “Rough Magic,” won a 2024 Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance.

Catch up on Cindy Lou Who in Monmouth
MONMOUTH — The Theatre at Monmouth will present the adults-only “Who’s Holiday!” on Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 27-29, bringing you up to date on the life of Cindy Lou Who from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.”
Promoters said “Who’s Holiday!” is a “wildly funny and heartfelt adults-only comedy that tells the story of Cindy Lou Who as she recalls that Christmas Eve she first met the Grinch and the twisted turn of events her life has now taken.”
Evening shows run Nov. 27-29 and Dec. 4-6 from 7:30-9 p.m. with Saturday matinees Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 from 1-2:30 p.m.

Get on track for the holidays at Auburn’s model railroad club

AUBURN — The Great Falls Model Railroad Club of Auburn is inviting the public to its annual ExTRAINaganza that brings together the magic of trains and winter for a family-friendly, up-close look at railroad modeling.
The club will offer five permanent layouts featuring trains of all sizes, from N scale to G scale, running through detailed winter-themed scenes spread throughout the handicap-accessible clubhouse.
The clubhouse will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27-29. Suggested donation is $5 a person. Children under 12 free. The Great Falls Model Railroad Club is at 144 Mill St.
House party with Josée Vachon in Lewiston
LEWISTON — The Franco-American Collection at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston campus is inviting the public to a holiday house party singalong with Josée Vachon.
Vachon will perform a mixture of holiday, humor and old favorites, while leading the crowd in call and response and singalong portions. Lyric sheets will be provided, and refreshments will be served.
Vachon debuted her singing career in 1980 with support from the Franco-American Center while a student editor at Le FAROG Forum newspaper at the University of Maine, quickly winning over audiences across New England.
The event will take place at 51 Westminster St., Room 170, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.

Join Norway’s Turkey Trot (before you eat a lot)
NORWAY — The annual Turkey Trot 4 Hope will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 27, from 7:30-11 a.m. to benefit the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.
Starting at the Norway Fire Department at 19 Danforth St., all ages are welcome and participants can choose a four-mile run, one-mile walk or a one-mile fun run.
Registration is $25. Race begins at 9 a.m. and awards are at 10 a.m.
