Romeo Langelier
FARMINGTON – Romeo Langelier, 96, a resident of Livermore Falls, Maine, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Sandy River Center in Farmington following a brief illness. He was born in Livermore Falls, January 29, 1929, the son of Victor & Delia (Quinn) Langelier. He graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1949. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he received his Parachute Badge, Korean Service Medal with Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge, United Nations Service Medal, and a Purple Heart. Following his discharge from the service, he moved to Connecticut to work for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until his retirement after 37 years. He then returned to his home State of Maine in his retirement years. Romeo was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #3335 in Jay, Maine, and a diehard lifelong New York Yankee Fan. Romeo served in the local Military Honor Guard, honoring his fallen comrades, for many years. He had a passion for photography. He is survived by a host of family and friends which include his daughter Pamela, grandson Christopher and great grandson Kaius. He was predeceased by his sons Michael and Normand. Special thank you to Gloria and Jamie for providing such great loving care to Romeo at his residence. Also, thank you to the VA Togus and Andwell Home Health Care for their home health assistance.
Funeral Service with Full Military Honors, will be held Sat. Dec. 6, 2025, 11 a.m., from FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St. Livermore Falls, Maine. Father Paul Dumais is officiating. Visiting one hour prior to the service, 10-11 AM.
