Adrianna Smith scored 24 points and Sarah Talon added 12 to lead the University of Maine to a 54-45 victory against Boston University in a non-conference women’s basketball game Monday night at Orono.
The Black Bears (3-5) led 24-20 at halftime, then used an 18-8 run in the third period to put away the Terriers (3-5).
Smith, who shot 9 of 20 from the field, also led Maine with 10 rebounds.
