Kudos to Sen. Susan Collins for her leadership on so many important issues in Washington.

While her partisan critics on the left tried in vain to convince the American public that she is somehow alone responsible for spreading the swine flu, she responded with the facts.

As a leader on the Homeland Security Committee, Collins has worked hard to increase funding for medical research and border security.

It’s a shame that people choose to overlook the facts in order to try and score cheap, political points.
