I see once again that the elected representatives of the Senate and the House in Washington, D.C., have abandoned the American people and gone home for the holidays — without doing anything about health insurance. Let’s be honest, the reason is that they do not care.
No one talks about what they, senators and members of the House, have for health insurance. I believe they have 100% coverage that is paid for by the government, not by themselves, and that when they leave the Senate or House they keep that coverage for life.
Maybe it is time that these leaders take care of the American people and give us what they have and take for granted as part of their job. Which, lately, is doing nothing.
