Edward McKenzie Jr.
LEWISTON – Edward McKenzie, Jr., 84, of Buckfield, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the St Mary’s D’Youville Pavillion. He was born March 25, 1941, in Providence, RI, a son of the late Edward and Emily McKenzie.
He attended and graduated from the Rhode Island school system and went on to become a tv repairman.
He married Barbara A. Curry on Jan. 6, 1962, in Greenville, RI. Edward was a loving husband and father, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Emily McKenzie; and wife Barbara McKenzie.
He leaves to cherish his memory. His devoted children Linda Gordius and her husband Kevin of Rye, NH and Susan Cayer and her husband Mark of Minot, Maine; her devoted grandchildren Mark Cayer, Jr., and his wife Katrina, Michael Cayer and his wife Hannah, Audra Gordius; his brother Daniel McKenzie; and many great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Catherine of Sienna in Norway on Saturday Dec. 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the spring at the Damon Cemetery in Buckfield.
