It’s been almost four decades since my youngest was born, but I still smiled and laughed at Victoria Hugo-Vidal’s status report (“Two months into motherhood, back on my feet and still on my toes,” Dec. 21). It brought back so many memories. There was definitely some overlap with “Mason’s Laws of Infant Care”: Let sleeping babies lie; Nothing works three times in a row; and what works with this baby might not work with the next one.
I encourage Victoria to treasure this time. So she can treasure the memories for the rest of her life.
