WEST PARIS — A 73-year-old man was found unharmed Monday night after an all-day search by police and volunteers.

Police had asked for help from the public as they searched for the West Paris man, who wandered away from his home Monday morning.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said the man suffered cognitive issues and was last seen leaving his home at about 11:30 a.m. on foot.

According to Maine State Police, the man was found in the early evening and returned home.
