Natasha McDonald scored 16 points to lead undefeated Spruce Mountain to a 42-30 victory over Maranacook in a Class C South girls basketball game Monday in Readfield.

Alaina Kachnovich scored eight points, while Lily Bellerose and Maddie Grimaldi each added six for Spruce Mountain (9-0), the No. 1 team in the Class C South Heal point standings.

Alice Ferran led second-ranked Maranacook (6-3) with 12 points. Celia Bergdahl finished with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
