Philemon “Manny” A. Kimball
HARTFORD – Philemon “Manny” A. Kimball died in his home that he built on Sat. Jan. 10, 2026. Manny was born in Rumford, Maine, on May 30, 1961, to Theresa (Gerow) and Philip Kimball.
He first lived in Hartford and attended the first kindergarten class of HSES. His family moved to Canton for a few years, and he went to school there and then his family moved back to Hartford. He graduated from Buckfield High School in 1979. Manny earned his forestry degree from Region 11 and spent his early adult years and much of his life cutting wood. On May 14, 1988, he married Vickielynn and settled in Hartford where he built his home and raised his family.
Manny was a jack of all trades and an expert at most. He had several jobs throughout his career. Highlights include, North Leeds Building Supply, Ricker Hill Orchards, Home Depot, Irving Sawmill, East Branch and many others. He enjoyed driving trucks and working with lumber the most.
Manny enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren who visited him often. He enjoyed fishing and especially hunting, taking walks in the woods and seeing wildlife. He enjoyed working on his tractor and more recently watching farm shows on YouTube.
Manny is survived by his wife, Vickielynn, his brother, four sisters; his daughter Natasha and spouse Robert Cote, his daughter Jessica and spouse Benjamin Sahin, his son Jacob Kimball and his fiancé Lexi; and his grandchildren, Isaac, Cooper, Aley, Judson, and Bentley.
He was predeceased by his father and mother; and his brother Philip Jr.

A funeral will be held at West Sumner Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be on May 22 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Canton.
