Donna Errington

PERU – Donna Errington, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at her residence on Gammon Road in Peru.

Donna was born on Nov. 2, 1953, in Rumford, Maine, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary (King) Wilson. She was a 1972 graduate of Rumford High School and later graduated from Bernard’s School of Cosmetology. Donna owned and operated Country Cut-N-Curl for many years, where she took pride in her work and the relationships she built with her clients.

She enjoyed quilting and sewing and could often be found cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. Donna was an active member of the Dirigo Boosters and PTF in Peru. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and friends.

Donna married Rodney Errington in Dixfield, Maine, in 1974, and together they shared many loving years. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Errington of Peru; her son, Jasen and wife Heather of Dixfield, her daughter Jennifer Woods and husband Tadd of Dixfield; her grandchildren Curtis and Libbie Errington, Morgan, Emily, and Mackenzie Woods; and a bonus granddaughter, Brittany Doucette. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister Rhonda Smith, and her brother Dean Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 -7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, Maine. Intermittent will be held in the Demeritt Cemetery in Peru.
