AUGUSTA — Brian D. Godbout, 18, of Augusta, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, Nov. 15, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston, Dec. 3, 1992, the son of David and Doreen (Weeks) Godbout. He grew up in Augusta and Lewiston and was a 2011 graduate of Cony High School. He was currently attending Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield in the applied science and electronics program. He loved computers and spent many hours using his.

Brian had a huge heart and was always thinking of others before himself. He never uttered an unkind word about others and was very polite and giving.

Brian is survived by his parents, David and Lois Godbout of Augusta and Doreen McKay of Lewiston; paternal grandmother, Regina Godbout; maternal grandfather, Clayton Weeks; brothers, Kurt Lombard and Danny McKay; sister, Heidi McKay; stepbrother, Bernard B. Cole II; aunts, Rita Johnson and her husband, Dennis and Charlene Weeks; uncles, Kevin and Clayton Weeks; his great-aunt and uncle, Esther and Duddie Farmer; niece and nephew, Brandon and Brittany McKay; and cousin, Karen Foster.
