Patricia (Twitchell) Ricker Timberlake Dickinson

LEWISTON – Patricia (Twitchell) Ricker Timberlake Dickinson, 89, of Turner, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, in Lewiston following some recent medical events.

She was born August 27, 1936, in Lewiston, the daughter of Ronald B. Twitchell and Evangeline (Briggs) Twitchell. Patricia was a 1954 graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner, received her bachelor’s degree in education through University of Maine Orono in 1958 and later her master’s degree in 1991. On April 18, 1983, in Lisbon Falls, she married Dean Dickinson. They enjoyed 39 years together before his passing on Dec. 24, 2023.

Pat was a lifelong teacher and reading specialist well into her 70’s. She had many friends and students over the years at CP White School in Auburn, Jordan School, and the Multipurpose Center School in Lewiston, Fayette School, Livermore Falls, Turner, Leeds and Greene. She was a member of the Faith Bible Chapel in Buckfield. She loved reading, singing, dancing, playing, playing with and loving her great grandchildren. She looked forward to her monthly book club meetings, and getting together with her Lewiston school teacher friends. She enjoyed her time with the Faith Bible Chapel in Buckfield, and the congregation became like family to her.

She is survived by her children, Harry (Nancy) Ricker of Turner, Heidi Hewison of Hebron, Jeff Timberlake (Joline) of Turner, Sheila Lyman (Ken) of East Livermore, Tim Timberlake of Buckfield, Leif Dickinson (Luna) of Virginia, and Bart Dickinson (Rachelle) of Lewiston; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael Twitchell, Terry Twitchell, Dale Twitchell (Anna), Christopher Twitchell (Sue) all of Turner, and Ronald Twitchell of Camden.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Dean Dickinson; son-in-law, James Hewison, sisters-in-law, Sally Twitchell and Betty Twitchell.

A graveside service at Turner Village Cemetery, Church Street, Turner, Maine will be announced in the spring. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
