Debra Boutchia-Bradley
LEWISTON – Debra Boutchia-Bradley, 66, passed away surrounded by friends and family on Jan. 11, 2026, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.
Debra was born on August 21, 1959, in New York City, NY, to Joan Hanvey Boutchia and William Boutchia.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, deeply cherished by those who knew her. Debra devoted her life and career to the service and care of others. Through her work providing in-home care for the elderly and infirm, as well as day care for children, she lived out her belief that everyone deserves loving care, compassion, and dignity. She did not merely believe in these values she practiced them every day.
Debra will be especially remembered for her quirky and infectious sense of humor. Her warmth, kindness, and spirit left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Mehigan, Matthew Mehigan, and Jessica Mehigan; her two brothers, William Boutchia and Warren Boutchia; her three sisters, Denise Gatta, Diane Boutchia-Passanisi, and Darlene Boutchia-Rogers; and her partner in love and life, Dave Vigue.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joan Hanvey-Boutchia and William Boutchia.
A funeral service will be held Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Church in Rumford. Following the service, family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Rumford.
