AUBURN — Nicole Smith has been hired by Central Maine Orthopaedics as a medical secretary. Smith will oversee the schedules of Drs. Paul Cain and Peter Sedgwick.

Human Resources Manager Janine Valliere announced the hiring.

Prior to joining CMO, Smith worked as a patient service representative with Central Maine Sports Medicine in Lewiston, and before that was a payroll assistant of Combined Management Inc. in Lewiston. She has attended the University of Maine at Augusta and Andover College.

A Jay native, she currently resides in Sabattus.
