Five different players scored as the Maine Mariners completed a three-game sweep of the Bloomington Bison with a 5-2 win Sunday in Bloomington, Illinois.
Maine (26-15-5-2) won its fifth game in a row and took over sole possession of third place in the North Division.
Zach Jordan, Jacob Hudson, Linus Hemstrom, Xander Lamppa and Antonio Venuto scored for the Mariners. Hudson’s goal was his team-leading 16th of the season. Maine goalie Brad Arvanitis made 28 saves for his 13th win.
Kyle Jackson scored two power-play goals for Bloomington.
The Mariners continue their road trip next Friday at Adirondack and Saturday at Worcester.
