Ray Pratt

AUBURN – Ray Pratt, 74, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 19, 2026.

Born on Nov. 2, 1951, to Charles Pratt, Sr. and Louise (Pollard) Pratt, Ray was raised in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1971.

Known for his mechanical skill and strong work ethic, he spent his working years as a mechanic for Country Kitchen, retiring in 2012.

Ray had a lifelong love of antique cars and found great joy attending antique car shows, where he admired classic craftsmanship and connected with others who shared his passion. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, often fixing a relative’s or friend’s car without hesitation.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Paul Pratt, in 1983, and his brother, Charles Pratt, Jr., in 2004.

Ray leaves behind his devoted companion of 40 years, Louise Stuart; his sister, Viola Dobson and her husband, John, his brother, Ron and his wife, Laurie, his brother, John and his wife, Debbie; as well as Louise’s children, Denise Keene and Robert Morin. He also leaves many extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

Services are in the care of The Fortin and Pinette Group Auburn. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6 from 10 a.m. To 12 p.m. at The Fortin and Pinette Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn, followed by a time of sharing fond remembrances.
