She attended St. Rose of Lima Elementary School and graduated from the Academy of St. Joseph in South Berwick in 1963. Rose went on to St. Mary’s School of Nursing and graduated in 1966 before beginning her career as a dedicated registered nurse.
Rose worked as a long-term care nurse at D’Youville Pavilion for several decades and was very proud of her nursing career.
Rose married Lucien “Vince” Levasseur on Sept. 10, 1966, and settled in Lewiston after proudly building the family home where Rose was still residing before her passing. Vince and Rose shared 48 wonderful years of marriage.
