DEAR SUN SPOTS: Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends is holding a Spring Bake & Craft Sale Fundraiser at Axis Natural Foods, 120 Center St., Suite 300, in Auburn on
Friday, April 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The weather may be warming up, but that doesn’t make living outside any easier for our feral cat community. Help us support them by taking part in this fundraiser, either by baking (please, no cupcakes), crafting, or just buying some treats.
Please bring any treats or crafts packaged, labeled, and priced for sale to Axis Natural Foods by 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 3. — Rosanna, no town
ANSWER: I hope all Sun Spotters will participate in helping with this fundraiser. Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends, a no-kill shelter for feral cats, has been around a long time and supports feral cats with shelter, food, spaying and neutering, and medication.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I was wondering what is happening with Star, People, and Us magazines. The last ones I saw came out Feb. 16.
I have been reading Star since August 1977. They are very interesting. Are they no longer being published? I miss those celebrity stories. Please let me know. — No name, Lewiston
ANSWER: All three magazines are still being published. If they aren’t available where you usually purchase them, you may want to subscribe to them. There are several websites to choose from where you can get all three of these magazines at a discounted price. If you need further assistance, just let me know!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have not been able to find Cadbury dark chocolate mini eggs, only the milk chocolate ones. I’ve been everywhere to look for them. Is it something to do with the tariffs? — No name, no town
ANSWER: Sadly, those candies were discontinued in 2019, although there may have been some sold since then that were stockpiled before the company made the decision to not make them anymore. If you have found dark chocolate mini eggs since then, perhaps you were buying Hershey brand candy.
Fans of the dark chocolate variety continue to protest and ask for their favorite Easter treat to be brought back to the stores, but so far, we have to be satisfied with only milk chocolate sugar-coated mini eggs from Cadbury.
