We had over a dozen incorrect answers from people identifying organs from churches all over the state. However, we had many that knew last week’s Mystery Photo was the 100-year-old organ at the back of the Peter J. Gomes Chapel on the campus of Bates College in Lewiston. In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Tom Turmel of Greene was picked as the winner of a $25 Hannaford Supermarket gift card. When notified of his winning the contest, he said he had worked for an organ company that serviced the organ, and he had serviced it in the past, so he recognized it immediately.
