Patricia J. Hart

NORWAY – Patricia J. Hart (Patty Nelson), 72 of Poland, passed away on Monday March 9, 2026, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 26, 1953, in

Lincoln, the daughter of Ralph and Bernice Nelson (Willard) and raised by her stepfather, Paul Willard. Patty grew up in Millinocket and attended Stearns High School.

After completing high school Patty went on to work in the local manufacturing industry, then retired from Safe Voices, her favorite and most rewarding career.

Patty was an avid puzzle fanatic, crossword and jigsaw, and loved true crime stories. Her favorite thing to do was anything that included her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Bernice and stepfather, Paul.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving children, Russell Hart, Donald Hart and his wife Nikki and Mallory Hart and her fiancée Kyle Stretton; her grandchildren, Nova, Kruze, Abby, Mackenzie and Kendra as well as Maleah and Norah. She also leaves her sister, Sally Chesley, brothers John Nelson, Howard Nelson and Dick Willard; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 26 W. Dwinal St Mechanic Falls. A private graveside service for family as well as a Celebration of Life for all friends and family will be announced at a later date.
