Jaime Allen Jimino

AUBURN – Jaime Allen Jimino, 48, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 3, 2026.

Born April 2, 1977, in Brunswick, he was the son of Philip D. Jimino of Maine and Kathy Karnes Wolf of Florida. Jaime grew up in Durham and developed a lifelong love of the outdoors. He graduated from Yarmouth High School, Class of 1996, and later attended Broward State College and the Atlantic Technical Center electrician apprentice program in Florida.

Jaime pursued a career in the electrical trade, building a life in construction and the maintenance and repair of residential and commercial properties. He served as Assistant Supervisor for a project at the Veterans Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 2012, he returned to Maine and settled in the Portland and Lewiston/Auburn areas, where he continued his work as an electrician.

He had a deep love for animals, volunteering in Florida with wildlife rehabilitation and therapeutic horsemanship programs and caring for many rescued pets over the years.

After a personal loss, Jaime met a difficult time with independence and quiet determination.

He is survived by his father, Philip D. Jimino of Maine, his mother, Kathy Karnes Wolf of Florida; his sister, Sherri M. Lemon and family; his half-brother, Philip Jimino and family; and his half-sister, Jennifer Porter and family; along with his paternal grandparents; and many aunts, uncles; cousins; nieces, and nephews.

Jaime was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Hilmon Karnes; and his stepmother, Patricia L. Jimino.

There will be no services.
