Susan Collins says that she is tired of the divisiveness in our politics. The senator doesn’t seem to realize that she is largely to blame for that. Not because of her positions, but because of her lack of clarity and forthrightness.
Why does Collins never stand up, join with like-minded Republicans, and point out the glaring reality that almost every day of the week, now, Mr. Trump amplifies his unfitness for office?
Why does she never speak the obvious and call for his impeachment, not for any partisan reason but because of the obvious truth that he is leading our country down a perilous road that may not have any return?
Collins could help return our country to a path of sanity and service, if that was something she really wanted.
