Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” is set in the town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire, in the early 20th century. With minimalist staging and a narrator known as the Stage Manager, the play examines love, marriage, death and the beauty of seemingly ordinary moments. With a message that speaks to the fleeting nature of life, the poignancy of “Our Town” is still relevant. Portland Stage’s production features an all-local cast under the direction of Todd Brian Backus.

Grammy-nominated and Peabody and Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, producer, director and comic Craig Ferguson brings his “Pants on Fire” tour to Maine for two performances. Best known for his many stand-up specials and his decade as host of CBS’s “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” the Scottish-born performer delivers a sharp mix of keen observations and quick-fire wit.

If you like Neil Diamond, you’re going to love So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience. Featuring Broadway and TV veteran Robert Neary as Diamond, the show features 26 hit songs including “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” “Forever In Blue Jeans” and “I am…I Said.” Neary will also share the stories behind some of the songs.
Caribbean Night with Pan Fried Steel

For the past several years, the Boothbay Opera House has welcomed in spring with a little help from their friends, Pan Fried Steel. With more than 20 steel drums, palm fronds, beach balls and a tiki bar, you’ll be transported to a tropical beach. The dance floor will be ready for you to roll in sporting your favorite Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses and flip-flops.
Wild West Murder Mystery

Howdy, partner! Have a fun night out while supporting a worthy cause in Lewiston. The Wild West Murder Mystery includes dinner, raffle prizes and, best of all, a team-based competition to solve a fictional western-themed murder. Western attire is encouraged, and the team that solves the murder the fastest wins a prize. All proceeds benefit the READy to Grow campaign to renovate the children’s department of Lewiston Public Library.
One Night of Queen

Gary Mullen & The Works presents a tribute to rock band Queen’s 1986 “Magic” tour. It was the final tour featuring the late Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991. Mullen sings his heart out as Mercury, and he and the band pay homage to Queen with accurate costumes, staging, lighting and set list. You can expect to hear hits like “I Want to Break Free,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “Radio Ga Ga.”
