Olin Howard Parker Jr.
MECHANIC FALLS – Olin Howard Parker Jr., 72, passed away on March 27, 2026. He was born on Sept. 15, 1953, to Norma Fowler and Olin Parker Sr.
Olin proudly joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after graduating high school, serving alongside his younger brother, Norman. After completing his service to his country, he returned home and spent many years working in various factories and mechanic shops throughout the Lewiston and Auburn area. Known for his strong work ethic and mechanical skills, Olin dedicated much of his life to providing for his family.
Outside of work, Olin enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wrestling, and most of all spending time with his family. He was an active member of the American Legion, where he served as both Post Commander and County Commander, and he was also well known within the local Bingo community.
Olin is survived by his loving wife, Tina (Vye); his children, Daniel and his significant other Marion, Natashia and spouse Neil; his stepchildren, Troy (Celena), Gina (Adam), and Tory; his granddaughters, Victoria (Adam), Julia (Adam), Kristen, and Selena; his step-grandchildren, Kyle, Daniel (Emily), Bradley, Allison, Finley, Alexandria, and Maximus; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, and nephews; including his favorite sister-in-law, Pam Lavoie and her husband.
He was predeceased by his parents; his four sisters and four brothers, one brother-in-law; one great-grandson; and his beloved aunt, Olive.
Olin will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his family, and the many friendships he built throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
